Margaret has been providing a warm welcome to her guests for the past five years and she serves delicious breakfasts with her freshly baked homemade bread.

Located close to the centre of Seahouses, Holly Trees is the ideal base to discover the varied charms of Northumberland, from the sweeping, unspoilt beaches and spectacular coastline, to the historical and picturesque landscape.

Seahouses is often called the gateway to the Farne Islands and there are boat trips available through most of the year to see the colonies of seals, puffins and other sea-birds.

Other nearby attractions include Holy Island (Lindisfarne) and Bamburgh, a few miles to the north and Alnwick Castle (with its links to the Harry Potter films), the Alnwick Garden and Cragside, are a short drive south.

The area is very popular for its water-sports, fishing, golf, walking, cycling and bird-watching. You can read more on the Locality page.
